Eisenhower Plaza enters the Ann Arbor Real Estate Market
Landmark "777" Building currently has no public list price
Long known as the ‘777 Building’ due to the large 777 numbers at the top of the building, the Eisenhower Plaza is now on the market in Ann Arbor. This landmark office property was originally completed in 1975 and is visible from the I-94 South State area. The property is 10-stories with 281,000 sqft which includes a 108,900 sqft recent addition. There is currently no price available for the listing.
Owner, Chicago-related parent company to Transwestern Commercial Services, obtained the building in 2004 from a merger with Great Lakes Real Estate Investment Trust. Since this time the building has undergone major renovations such as the addition of security, new elevator cabs and underground parking. According to the company website the building is currently about 94% occupied and is leasing at an average of $25/sqft. According to the City of Ann Arbor, the state equalized value according to tax year 2008 is approximately $63.7 million. The last sale before the 2004 acquisition was recorded in 1995 for just shy of $22 million.
