University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center Team with U of M Football Coaches to Train Women Fundraisers
Training and Fundraising on Campus
During our day, we also went outside where we practiced on real grass throwing a football into a net. We worked with Fred Jackson on passing and holding the ball close to the ribs. Calvin Magee threw footballs at us - catching as best as we could. We listened to Coach Scott Shafer discuss his role.
We had a tremendous time and I kept thinking how this football team approach was very much like how we run our Ann Arbor real estate practice. We get excited when things work out perfectly for our clients (touch down) and we learn something new every day.
Cancer survivorship used to mean you lived five years cancer free; now they are building a whole program to better serve the needs of those who are living years beyond a cancer diagnosis.
