This Saturday at 11:00 am you’ll have a chance to get all your questions answered about solar energy and solar energy systems. The Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association is sponsoring an information session to be held at Ann Arbor Spark Central, 330 E. Liberty Street. Experts will be on hand to discuss the “Go Solar Michigan” program – an effort to increase buying power through aggregate purchasing programs. This is part of the Go Solar America Initiative. Bulk purchases on solar materials such as hot water systems or photovoltaic solar electric systems bring down material costs and create installation efficiencies for contractors.
Not only is solar energy earth friendly, but in 2009 it also provides tax paying homeowners with eligibility for a federal credit. Experts at this weekend’s session will discuss how solar technologies function and perform in the Michigan climate.
