Ann Arbor SPARK and SRT Solutions will be hosting a seminar on December 11th to introduce local Ann Arbor startups to the Microsoft BizSpark Program. Companies will learn how the Microsoft program can foster business growth and provide consulting and software support for software-based or service startups. This is a new offering through Microsoft. SRT Solutions and Ann Arbor SPARK have teamed up to really maximize the benefits for Ann Arbor companies thinking about the Microsoft program.
The program is designed to help startup companies get on a fast track. BizSpark provides access to Microsoft’s development tools and server products for no upfront costs. The seminar will help businesses to understand the software tools available for streamlining business operations and functions. It will also provide guidance for strategic implementation. Attendees will get a software “how to” as well as advice on business expansion.

To enroll in the Microsoft BizSpark program, a company must be:
- A privately held company building a software-based product or service (even using open source code)
- In business for fewer than three years
- Have less than USD$1M in annual revenue
