Ann Arbor Michigan Community & Real Estate: Dexter School Boards Talking Money In Meetings This Week
With Christmas just weeks away, the last thing you would think the School Boards would be discussing is money. However the Dexter School Boards will be discussing their finances in meetings this coming week.
Washtenaw County School Boards in general will be talking finances at meetings this week – starting with Dexter as mentioned, today and then Ann Arbor later in the week. The discussions are over what needs to be cut in order for the books to balance.
For Ann Arbor there will be two public meetings taking place one as part of a regular meeting at 7pm on Wednesday in the downtown library and the next will be Thursday where the Ann Arbor school board will get together with district administrators at 5:30 p.m. at the district headquarters to discuss the budget for the year. Naturally all eyes will be on these meetings and their results as not just parents take interest but all tax payers do.
