The township has two zip codes – 48103 for the part closer to Ann Arbor and 48130 for the part closer to Dexter. Scio Township is a great place to live, work and play! As we have said before – Suppose you want to work in Ann Arbor but want to have a slightly slower pace of life, have the convenience of a good sized city nearby but with a lower cost of living – then Scio Township could be for you!
Also, by being in Scio Township there are many local amenities – such as Scio Town Center which offers shops, banks, drycleaning, cafes, a salon, plus multiple services. Walk to Meijer, Lowes, and Panera Bread.

Ann Arbor offers great access to the expressway to get to Detroit or beyond quickly. A hop skip and a jump away is Zingerman’s Deli, Kerrytown, Kerrytown Farmers Market, U of M campus, Medical Center and University of Michigan football games. Drive to Veteran’s Park for figure or hockey skating, baseball, sledding, swimming, or enjoy fresh produce at Plum Market. For some specialty items be sure to visit nearby Morgan and York with video.
