Hometown Village Ann Arbor, MI 48103  is  a site condo development of 146 homes with street names like Timmins, Chapleau, and North Bay located in Scio Township.  It is off of Scio Ridge, between Scio Church and Liberty, just minutes to Liberty Athletic Club  and close to downtown Ann Arbor, shopping, restaurants, grocery,  and parks – including one in the sub.

 

 

 

Hometown Village homes were developed and built in 1998 through 2004 by Delcor Homes.   Annual association fees run about $876.00.  City water and sewer are provided. The active Hometown Village association has master deeed documents, recycling schedules and events on their web site.

The homes are situated by ponds, wetlands, and woods. There is a European flair of architecture  with large front porches, flower boxes, shutters, white picket fences and sidewalks.  Actually one of the 7 floor plans is called European. Others are called Eastern Seaboard, Nottingham, and Traditional Colonial.  Homes are constructed with vinyl exterior.

Homes range in size from 1762 – 3075 square feet with Merillat center island kitchens with eat in dining space, 10′ ceilings on the first floor, 9 ‘ ceilings in the basements, ceramic tile baths, hardwood floors, fireplaces, and wide staircases. Homes have a miniumum of 3 bedroom, 2.1 baths.  Most basements  have egress windows or walk out to yards.  They have 2 or 2.5 car attached garages with nice sized master suties with lots of closet space, vaulted ceillings.  Many homes have patios, decks, lofts/study areas.

A hop skip and a jump away is Zingerman’s Deli with videoKerrytown with video, Kerrytown Farmers Market with video, U of M campus, Medical Center and University of Michigan football games.  Jog to Veteran’s Park for figure or hockey skating, baseball, sledding, swimming, or enjoy fresh produce at Plum Market, or spciality items at Morgan and York – see video.  If you want to take advantage of recreational activities, head on out to the the Chain of Lakes, test the links on 10 super Metropark golf courses, bike 44 miles of paved trails or cross country or hike at Huron-Clinton Metroparks.

Ann Arbor is a great place to live – convenient for all, including the metro airport, which is about 30 minutes away!

Children attend Ann Arbor schools: Lakewood,  Slauson, Pioneer.  Tour inside Washtenaw schools.  This year 10 homes have sold with an average square feet of 2136 and average sold price of $232,562.
