This year Saline made Money Magazine’s annual list of “Best Places to Live’ again! The magazine lists 100 small towns. Saline is the only Michigan city to make the list three consecutive times.
Saline is a safe city, the police and fire protection are well run, and it was a good place to raise kids, with a lot of activities and was one of five communities in the state to make the list, coming in at 68. Tecumseh was ranked 93. Other Michigan areas receiving recognition are Plymouth Township (28), Grosse Ile (38) and Rochester (52). Louisville, Colo., was ranked No. 1.
Of course the rating is well known in Saline as many refer to it and believe that it has helped in preserve property values – along with its vicinity to Ann Arbor.
