We are a Michigan Wonderland. Yes I snowmobile. I water ski. I snow ski. I fish. I boat. I am a pure Michigan girl raised in Birmingham on Westlady Dr. I graduated from Marian Catholic High School. I went to University of Colorado and Eastern Michigan University. I lived in Toronto for 6 years and am here in Ann Arbor by choice.
Did you know we are America’s snowmobile paradise? see video You would if you would join me on a trail ride where we just cook some chunky soup in a can on an open fire for a quick break. We used to ride up and down I75 while it was being built and before it was even ready for traffic by Roscommon Michigan – up and down major hills – so fun.
You would love to join me perch fishing on Higgins Lake at our family cottage where I have been every single summer. My Dad used to get us 6 kids up in the morning and take us out on a pontoon boat to cook us bacon and eggs on a grill and teach us to fish. My Mom was probably in paradise home alone.
Our current home is surrounded by natural cross country trails and we have some of the best ice fishing in South Eastern Michigan out our door. Have you ever used a sheet between you and your buddy with ice skates to make a sail and glide by the wind over the ice? Try it and feel alive on a windy day!
