What a treat to meet Marty Overholser and some of the other fine nationally accredited paramedics at Dexter Daze. The teams are ready to handle emergencies at crowded events even on bikes. These bikes have life support equipment and enable medics to ride easily in crowded areas, as seen in video below.
As you will see, they have emergency lights and sirens to move through crowds. The bikes are laden with equipment and are managed by accredited and highly trained paramedics. I did find out that you can register information about family members with specific medical problems in the Computer Aided Dispatch system.
Consider this if:
- Significant health problems
- Physical disabilities
- Infant on an apnea monitor

I felt that I would receive excellent emergency care from Marty and HVA. Huron Valley Ambulance is a nonprofit community agency which provides Health Transportation Services and Health Call Center Services in an eight county service region in Southeast and South Central Michigan.
