Dexter Michigan Library Project is on Schedule
The New Facility will Feature More Computer Access and Meeting Rooms
The Dexter District Library is on schedule for fall occupancy per Paul McCann, director of the Dexter District Library. The location is 3255 Alpine Street, downtown by the Farmer’s market and Warrior Creek. For detailed information on funding and the project click here.
The $7.8 million project will build a 25,000-square-foot, two-story structure. Currently the library is at the former Methodist Church Education Building on Fourth Street.
The new facility features more space for books and other materials, studying and reading space and meeting rooms. I am thrilled there will be computer rooms and wireless Internet access for library patrons, and meeting room space to accommodate 200 people.
Since my team has been invited to present classes in the library, we will certainly appreciate the space, new technology, and configuration. Our next session will be on Short Sales. (www.AnnArborShortSale.com) Thursday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m.
